cfunited 2007

Well, I'm off to Washington D.C. for CFUnited 2007! From Rochester, MN to the Twin Cities to Reagan International in D.C. Its going to be a long flight, but well worth it I am sure.

I am going a day early for the User Group Manager Meeting scheduled for Tuesday. The agenda looks like a good one, with topics from "How to get Members involved" to how to use the Adobe Acrobat Connect (which my user group uses on occasion, but I really need to know more about it).

CFUnited this year looks great too! I am going to attend sessions on ColdFusion 8 for sure. I also want to hit up some topics on ColdSpring (and Aspect Oriented programming), and I definitely want to go to Joe Rinehart's presentation on using AJAX with frameworks as I got to work on a project with him doing just that!

I hope to learn alot this year, as I always have at CFUnited, and I hope to have a beer or two! I'll try to be blogging throughout the conference especially if any big news about ColdFusion 8 comes out!
