the fray

Last night (tonight still I guess), we traveled to the Twin Cities and went to The Fray concert! They sure do put on a great show! They were at the Target Center in downtown Minneapolis. We were definitely part of the older people in the crowd. I had no idea The Fray had such a young following.

The Minneapolis StarTribune has an article ripping on The Fray. I think the crowd was young, but who are the people that listen to music the most? People 20-30 years old! Also, the entire band didn't do alot to get the crowd involved, but the crowd was involved enough already. And yes, The Fray has only two big hits and one album released, but that entire album has great music on it and they played three new songs too.

I do think that The Fray would be best seen in a smaller venue because of the type of music they play and because of the type of guys that are in the band. Their music to me, seems to fit a "sit-down" type environment.

Anyway, we had a great time! If you are a Fray fan or even if you are not, I would recommend going to one of their concerts!
