southeast minnesota cfug december meeting

The Southeast Minnesota ColdFusion User Group will be meeting on Thursday, December 13th, at 10:00AM on the Rochester Mayo Clinic campus.

At this meeting, Ryan Thompson-Jewell, a Senior Web Developer on the MayoClinic.com team, will be presenting on Advanced Charting with CFChart and Styles.

Ever ran into a layout problem with CFCHART or wanted to use a chart type that ColdFusion did not support? We'll explore using the style attribute of CFCHART, what it is for and how to use the included WebChart3d program to create your own styles. We'll also explore using the included WebChart3D Java objects directly to get chart types that CFCHART does not expose such as dials and other types. Other topics covered: - more complex label formatting and layout - putting a data table in the chart with one setting - combining multiple data series into one chart with two different y-axis ranges

We will be meeting in the Centerplace (US Bank) Building, in the Hartman Conference Room on the 4th floor.
